My collection being sold off

Post by GoldCylon » Sat Jan 06, 2007 10:26 pm

I am starting to sell off my collection. I have started with smaller no screen used items, and will sell most everything off if not everything at some point. Check out chromedfx on eBay to see what I have. It will take a while to see everything, maybe 6 months, so check out what is up today, and everyday.

Items didn't start going up till Saturday, and the smaller things have started first. The screen used item from BSG will be some of the later items to go for sale. Non BSG screen used items will be listed shorty also.Mostly toys will be sold off over the next few weeks, and then it will progress on up to other items.

I had a realationship break up, and have decide to buy a house. The amount of $$$ I have wrapped up in my collection will be bring in a lot of money, that will help me buy a house with a major down payment. I hate to depart with my collection, it has been many years of devotion to the show I love, but I have made this choice. So it will be a great time over the next 6-12 months for other collectors to big up something new to them.

I was wondering why you were selling, and I can appreciate and sympathise your reasons. Hopefully you get some great prices and set yourself up in a nice new home.

I have sent a few emails off to Profiles In Historty, but no reply back from them yet. I also noticed the next time they are having a sell is June or July, so maybe they aren't in a hurry to take items in yet.
Also the big ticket items, and the screen used items will be the last items sold. The toys and thing like that are going first, then the replica props , and so on till the Cylon.

I have owned a slice of history, one piece that many have wished they had, so I am in company of a very small group, so I feel blessed.

Hello, I am new here. I am TRYING (key word) to get a cylon together. I have always wanted a cylon suit since 1978. Now I am here! Yea!!

So where do I go to see what you are selling?

Thanks

Welcome on board Oheron. Are you looking for a screen used Cylon, or a replica copy?

Being a single dad, I am looking for the most inexpensive thing I can get. I am also an accomplished costumer and I would love to get pieces parts so I can put a suit together for myself.

Starting out with the armour is the best and first step in making the Cylon costume. The other challenges will come along in time as you build your suit. If you have the time, effort, and money it will take a while to complete a Cylon if you are looking for a accurate Cylon. This is the place to help you find what you need, and a place to ask the questions, but trying to slam one together in a few days just won't be as easy as you hope, or think. Look around, read a few posting, and ask some questions. Also check out the photo gallery, I have posted a lot of photos that will help answer your questions, even after it has been answered.

I am definately NOT trying to slam one together in a few days! :-) I have waited since 1978 I can wait a few more years! LOL. In fact, I just sent you an envelope for a cylon sword, I think. The one off of ebay?
My brother and I are in the middle of making a 4'x4' vacuform table. I have hopes that someday I can make cylon parts vacuformed. Right now I am looking for any and ALL help I can get.
You have NO idea how happy I am to finally find this web site!
