My helmet is finished and I have started with my undersuit.

I'll keep you updated as I go a long.

I have thought of using the PVC tubing also, and looks like it works great. Now did you sew the folded pieces over then inserted the tub? Never thought of that idea if that is what you did. Great start so far. Great video also. Thanks for sharing the idea, and the update on the build.

Tomorrow I'm going to score some more tube at work, I'm still having problems finding the dark gray pants and shirt that I want to use for my suit.
Have been looking at lycra, but that is almost impossible to sew..so I'm looking at basic "off the shelve" stuff but for a complete (matching) set I probably have to look in the womens section..heh..heh..

A girl I know will help me with that one this coming week. ;-)
If this all won't work, I'll just buy the gray fabric and build everything from scratch.
And I will head over to the motorcycle store to get the hood to attach my neckrings to.

I'll keep u posted.

Update

Hi guys,

I've been sewing along and I must say that even though I had never done it before
it wasn't that hard...and I think it turned out reasonably well;

Next on the agenda: making the rings on my undersuit jacket.
I'll keep you updated.

Wupsje - it ROCKS!!!

Say, any chance you could send the pattern you used for the hood to your most favorite Cylon Forum Admin? (< ME!)
