Skullbeast.can I dilute ordinary bondo body filer with acetone?I'm not quite up to speed on all the things that can be used.

Yes add slowly or it will be like water.

Can make bondo resin too. Polyester plus bondo
And
Both hardeners . Disclaimer: Just wear eye hand protection and do in a well ventilated area and a respirator. Polyester catalyst can blind you if it gets in your eyes.

Auto supply and hardware for acetone? I just used some bondoresin last night. It's very nice. Just remember the right amount of catalyst for both.

I prefer thinning bondo with resin, as you mentioned, SB. I think it is stronger than with acetone.

Not sure, I haven't even looked into that yet. There's a plastic supply about five blocks from me but I have yet to stop in. Thanks I'll let you know.
