Looking for a mannequin.

Post by Omega Red » Fri Nov 29, 2013 6:50 pm

Happy Holidays all! Looking for recommendations on a full body mannequin to display my Cylon. Anyone have a site or suggestions? One thats good but won't drain my bank account even more.
Thanks,
Omega Red :salute:

I had a site picked out to buy one... but can't find the link now (maybe Red Eye can remember it?). I'll try to dig it up yet later on.

BUT I decided not to buy one and make one - as GroupLeader Zeta suggested. Like this one: http://xrobots.co.uk/dummy/
Another fun build... MY SIZE (most poor mannequins have never eaten fast food like me...) and CHEAP!!!

In most cases the standard mannequin is way too small. You want one that unless you like to look like it is sporting something for the beach just a standard standing straight with arms straight down. The arms, and legs need to be cut and strenght out 5-6 inches. Then foam padding around the chest, upper thigh leg section, and the bicep area of the arms. This will buff the guy up, and give him that bottom of the boot to the top of the Mohawk a 7 ft tall Cylon. Just like on screen. Now check out eBay for a decent source selection of sellers.
