Cylon Tanker Question/ request for help!

Post by Swhite228 » Sun Jan 27, 2008 8:53 pm

I'm working on the Cylon Tanker and a Colonial Mover as a start on the Galactica build.

The tanker is 90% done on the kit part ID's, and I have most all of the kits. What I'm looking for are photos of the bottom of the studio model.

If anyone can help or wants to share info let me know.
Thanks
Scott

I have thought of one source to ask about the Cylon tanker. I'll send out an email and see what I can come up with.

I came up with this, but it isn't much help I am afraid, since it doesn't show the bottom side your looking for.

Thanks!
It might not be what I'm looking for, but it answers a lot of questions about how the ship was built!

I always liked the look of the Cylon tankers, but I can't remember seeing them after the first movie.

Did they appear elsewhere in the series?

Yes, they appeared again in the first part of "Living Legend" and in the second theatrical movie "Mission Galactica: The Cylon Attack", which were cutted together from the episodes "Living Legend" and "Fire in space".

But there were no new takes of the tankers on both the episode or the movie, just stock-footage from "Saga of a Star World".

That is something I have, but haven't posted yet. Just some many photos, and not enough time to sort, and upload them. Those are some great photos, and I have over 10,000 photos posted in my gallery, but the public can only view about 6,800 of them. So many people send that ask me not to share, but like to share with me. So far the bottom section of the tanker hasn't come to me yet, or I just can't get my hands on it at this time.
Again thank you to all that help support this side view submitting your photos, private, and public.

The above link for those master parts are off. They are off because it is about 1/3 of the studio scale size. The guy that built that model used what he could to make do with what he could find. Don't get me wrong he did a great job but it isn't a 1:1 size, and or parts.
