I wonder why. He bought the patterns from Jim Key about 5 years ago. Would a pattern break down enough to not be able to make molds from it anymore.

No it should be a permanent master. Maybe it not worth the trouble to him most resin kits end that way.

Actually, because it is different than my kit, what you want to use for comparison is this review of the same kit. It has a lot of pics of the parts.

Wow, it sucks that you weren't able to get it. The final price is high but still about the same as Mike's new kit. I guess these are in high demand.

I got one! I think it's mm. The directions are the same. I just bought it and the basestar will deliver it to me on this .... so called Earth.
