GO TEAM! Again - "WOW" work by everyone on the team.

Indeed. The only thing we dwell on here, is how to build Battlestars, so the Cylons here at ByYourCommand.net better understand how to blowed them apart!

I agree.
So where is the group that built the Atlantia based out of, how many members, and how long did it take to make the build.

*EDIT: GoldCylon forgot a question...
"and how long until FedEx drops the Atlantia off at Cylon-Knight's house?"

The client who hired us in 2008 originally wanted the Atlantia, Galactica and the Pegasus. All at studio scale for his collection! We built the Atlantia first, took aprox 18 months with research and building done by our crew of 3-4. A contractor started the build for the first 9 months, and seemed to get in over his head, when we took over the build and research in house here in North Hollywood, ca. Atlantia was finished in early July 2009.
We started work on the Galactica in September 2009 and finished in May 2010.( too bad i can't show you the photos of 2 Basestars all lit-up in this guys house!)
As it stands now we are not building the Pegasus for him, as his funds and plans have us making other ships for him (a 6' Enterprise E, we also built 2 42" Enterprise D's) He hasn't expressed any interest in a rag-tag fleet either as of yet. He is collecting to create his own private-little museum as far as i know.

Some tiny scale Vipers we made for the Studio Scale! We made Cylon raiders too...

Would all three of the battlestars have been identical except for the name plates? I thought that when the pegasus was filmed only the name changed - or were other modifications made to it as well?
I know the pegasus shuttle had a few extra details beside the name change - the front grille (that was already removable for concealing the mounting plug) had some extra greeblies on it.

This is becoming more awesome with each photo I see. To bad about the Pegasus build didn't happen. That would have been one heck of a display to see 3 of those bad boys side by side.

They were originally the same model with the name plates swapped. In the case of our builds, they are actually slightly different in paint schemes and some parts, dimensions, which i think makes them cooler! The Atlantia was painted a little darker tone with darker washes, and we put couple of fiber-optic lights on the bottom of the ship (not in the original)
Here's a sneak photo you can only get when you have 2 ships lined up

I really like the idea of the small Vipers!
Words just can't describe the uniqueness of your masterpieces...

You guys would freak-out if i could show you the complete photos of the 2 Battlestars all lit up! And this guy has in same room a 40" Enterprise D, a 32" Enterprise E. There have only been built 8 of these ships post 1978, and this guy owns 2 of them! cost of each? Think Ferrari prices. Jim Creveling built 1(not very accurate, but was the first) and is building his second (very accurate) Sean Sides built 1,Mike Oz and Phil Curl in Australia are building 1 each, I know a guy in Germany is building a Pegasus, And at least 1 more person is in the process i know of from different model building forums.

ACK! What is this guys name - the Imperious Leader wants to know!
Really, if you can mention it to the owner we'd be thrilled to host a password protected and massive watermarked version of just one pic of the two ships! Only hopelessly lost, die hard serious BSG fans - like himself - would have access to it.
Bonus if we could have a similar 1701E pic (EVEN THOUGH the 1701 refit/A is a way cooler ship - to me at least

)
If not, that
