Okay, you're right.
I guess we have to improve our aim somehow...
Perhaps we should call for a Cylon doctor?
Okay, back to the topic: I've contacted the seller of the supposed Universal suit myself asking him about the holding ribs and bicep armor.
Naturally, he don't know what I was talking about so I've sent him a few pictures.
Now I'm waiting for his response...

Seems like it might be pretty "iffy" ... bet you they will come back they can't take more photos. You should reply if they want to actually sell the thing they
need to go get a camera!

Looks nice, but they have it listed with "Vulpa" in the title ... oops, the parts are chrome, not gold.

She lady is a classic. She took things I said and forgot what I said, and twisted it around. There isn't anything there Vulpa, and maybe just maybe of all that stuff two pieces screen used. I saw all of it, and her husband (pasted 5-6 years ago) was just trying to fill in the pieces to complete the 3 Cylons he had. Buying up extra pieces, and having prop makers fill in the rest. He really didn't care how much was real over just having a completed Cylon, and what was left over was just a much of stuff. She even tried to get someone to build those pieces into a complete Cylon, and was going to try to sell it off as a screen used Cylon in Profiles, but no one wanted to even touch that LIE she was trying to pull over someones eyes. If I recall the only screen used pieces were one arm gauntlet, and one bicep. Everything else was a replica.

I bet she's also the owner of the gold Cylon costume which you restored, right?

Do you know anything about her plans for the gold Cylon?
Will we see it on display at the SFM, perhaps?

She doesn't own any Cylon at all anymore. What you see on eBay right now is all that is left from her husband that past 5-6 years ago. She hates the prop stuff, but is hungry for the money it brings into her pocket. Profiles is a tad tired of her also in demands of listing items out of range of worth making her listings a waste of time.

For the price, I guess the Cylon parts are okay... not a complete set at all but some good parts.
The listing says: "I think the one silver armband is authentic and one of the gloves is definitely authentic" ... that is iffy... who authenticated it when and how? Is it ? "thinking" isn't good enough. I understand that the seller isn't the original owner who is sadly gone. The listing does state many parts are replicas - very good that the are not trying to rip anyone off.
Also, to me, the word "authentic" doesn't equal screen used to me. Just a 1:1 match.
Be careful if you bid fellow Cylons, while they look like great parts I'd want proof on any "screen used/authentic" claim myself.

A complete armor set is for sale on eBay (it even has a middle holding rib, which is often missing in other sets):

The same seller also offers a screen-used Command Centurion belt box cover:

That is the other Dale. He used to be a good online buddy, but he sold of what I thought was all his stuff except that single belt buckle box. Our last conversation some 2 years ago he said he would never sell that single gold box, and now look at that something he paid $50 for is now X3 the price bought. The kit is a CORA set of armor. They live about 1 hour from each other.
