First I will start with the piece of wood you see in the center.it's a two by six .I will cut the back stock from this.and then I will take the rasping files you see and round it out to a stock.this will take awhile. and I will try to give step by step details of what I'm doing at the time.

Took the 2x6 to work today and cut it on the band saw.without the bosses permission. I'm not suppose to use the tools on free time
he's afraid I will cut myself.LOLLLL.Frak him.and by the way I cut the first two with a hand saw. A band saw is much better..heheheh
now I have to break out a rasping file and go to town......but not right now........Oh and I wan't to give a big shout out to C.O.R.A

OK.on this part of the stock .I start going for a half round shape with the rasping file. further back on the stock I want a sharper angle.
will post another pic when I get to that part.......

now that I have the front part rounded.I start on the back top side.when that is to were I want it.I blend the sharper angle into the half round shape.

Sorry for the delay.had to buy me a hand sander.still rounding out the back stock.about ready to join the two rounded parts on top.

I have a question .to any one's memory .has there ever been a vacuum formed rifle done? or pulled I believe you call It.
the same way you guys make the armor for sale...

There's a member at the Replica Prop Forum who wanted to do it, but then cancelled it due to lack of interest.

Sean, I'm going to ask a cousin of mine about a vac machine build... he tinkers around with all sorts of wood working, etc. I'll keep you posted!
