My brother showed me this over the weekend, its as 3M product called DI-NOC and it is a plastic film that you can cover most shapes by heating it. most vids show ppl using a carbon fiber version, but is also cames in chrome and gold.
Only problem I have found is that it is expensive (been quoted AU$90/m in oz)

The product seems to have really taken off in the car customization and interior design fields. I've seen prices around $6US per square foot.

Yeah $6 per square doesn't surprise me at all. It is new, and cool so those that have the money will buy it. I think i have seen this before in chrome sheets also, and about the same price.

It is more of a laminate than anything else, so advanced plastic or advanced paint shops would carry it. Maybe high end fabric shops would also, but best choice would be online shopping.
