Was there a company in the US called universal armour or something similar in the late 1990's that made cylon costumes as well as other props.

well I have managed to get a undersuit, its not great but atleast it will be better than nothing. With any luck my armour pieces should arrive soon and I can get started.

got the armour from hand straub today. One step closer to getting a cylon that looks like its spent 30 years in a swamp.

Going for a swim in the swamps on Antilla no less...

Can't wait to see the first photos of this very promising build!

Cool - I actually think a "lived in" Cylon is going to be awesome!

thanks. Glueing the back pack together was interesting. In the end I reinsorced it on the inside by melting the plastic edges together with a soldering iron in several places.

Any idea who originally moulded the cylon head. It doesn't look like a cora or hand straub one.

Agreed it is not HS or CORA. My first reaction was Krop - based on the mowhawk shape... however I don't think it is. The eye scanner inset (black area) is a different shape than Krop's - and they come pre-plated.

Hummmmm
You have a mystery helmet! COOL
How is it made? Solid 1 piece... plastic/fiberglass, etc.? Maybe more clues and someone can help you ID it.

Whoever made it, you are building it AWESOME!
