WOW! You are going to be the SUPERSTAR at the Legoland show!!!
How is the vision out of the helmet? Do the eye lens work for vision the way they light up and everything? I can tell the gold metal on the face for sure - it is AWESOME!

Wow, looks really great!
Does it also have the cool J.A.R.V.I.S. displays inside?
Sorry, just kidding.

The vision is a lot worse than any other lid I own you almost walk blind.
Ok Tuesday was set a side for me to sort out what by far to date was the hardiest part of the build, the ab. After a long night, a lot of "over thinking" I had to call it a night. Angry with myself for a wasted night, on WednesdayI made an emergency call to a good friend who is master builder (in fact he himself is building a screen accurate green goblin) so we are back on track, some pictures.....
Dont get me wrong there is still plenty to do and time is ticking....

AWESOME!!! All you need is the boots and hands...
...Three little photos have lost their mittens, and Iron Man began to cry,
"Oh J.A.R.V.I.S. dear, I sadly fear that I have lost my mittens."
"What! Lost your mittens, you naughty Iron Man!
Then you shall have no royalty checks."

Movement is very limited, once the neck seal is on its even worse, I have to be strapped into it. It's a lot like C3-PO, no vision, no movement, remind me why I'm doing it again?
The armour in the background belongs to the guy helping me. It's General Veers from Empire, also you can just see the lid for the green goblin, as well as other goodies.

I also think I've spotted an unfinished Dalek dome in the right lower corner of the first photo, right?

@Brutalmagic
Does the gold face place "hing" upwards while you have the helmet on like in the movies? Or does it just pop off?

You do know that they had at least 3 type of helmets to preform different tricks like the face opening up, the Jarvis screen opening, full face helmet, and one other if I recall, but can't remember what the other did besides stunt, and and battle damage helmets. Since I don't see a hinged open faced photo I think it is a pop on/off type. Over all still a suit I would love to have.

That is correct! Hero closed. Hero open. And stunt. Those are the types.

That's right he is building an early darlek I can't remember which one exactly.
Regards the face plate, at the moment it just pulls off, held together with magnets. Once the suit has been built and I have Legoland out of the way I plan to make certain upgrades. Such as adding a motorized face plate.
@Skullbeast I have just seen the pictures of the new silver suit being displayed at S.D.C.C lots awesome, did you anything to do with that?

Cool, yah, I knew there were many types for the film (some even CGI!). Same in all movies/TV - like capes for Batman, or KITTs on Knight Rider - movie magic! I just thought it may hing as it is so cool... and sometime soon it will! Very cool Brutalmagic.
After you finish... I can send you a Cylon Empire Pentagon logo sticker to put on your Iron Man's chest

Ok I needed to get my Iron Man suit ready for this weekend as Legoland are hosting a super hero's weekend. The main reason for doing this for this event is Legoland will donate a stupid amount of money to charity for me attending.
Its finished (well good enough for the weekend!) I will be "tweeking" once the weekend is over and Im not rushing.
So this is what it looks like.....
Believe it or not it is finished but in all the excitement we didn't get a full finished photo. Nevermind I will post some cracking pictures after the weekend.
Rob..
