I also pulled the trigger last night.
So I have my Blu-ray set on the way, along with the 3 movie DVD set that contains Mission Galactica, and Conquest of The Earth.
Galactica for all!

I see. So they just made a sort of "Hey!" out of the whole thing. Interesting; vielen Dank.

My Blu-Ray set arrived yesterday. (took 3 weeks)
There is WAY more detail in every episode for sure.
For example I noticed the silver strips of cloth in Adama's cape
and uniform have individual lines running through them. Never noticed
that before.
Any dirt or specs during the shows is very minimal if barely noticed
except for space scenes which was expected.
Very pleased to have this!

Awesome! You are in the US correct? Did you just order it straight up through Amazon.de and they shipped it to a US address?

I live in the U.S. also, and ordered mine through Amazon.de and they shipped it to me regular U.S. address.
Just make sure you have the equipment that allows you to play Region B.

I recently got my set, and as I type this I have watched as far as The Man with Nine Lives.
On my player, the subtitles are removeable on the extras on disc 1 only, forced on the others. The first 9 discs are BDs with 10 being a DVD.
On Battlestar Galactica the sound choices are DTS HD Master Audio 5.1 in English and German (default on loadup). On Galactica 1980 DTS HD Master Audio 2.0 Mono.
Subtitles (Optional on the episodes) are English and German. There is also a German subtitle track for any English onscreen signage.
