Very sorry to hear about this. We had to put a little dog down 11 years ago and I'm still sad to think of it. Now we have one who's 14, still in good health but you never know.

She was a rescue dog we got when she was nearly 3. Given up for adoption by a breeder after she had to have a C-section with her second litter. Too small for breeding purposes, but perfect for a pet.

Sorry for your loss. I still miss one of my little guys who died in 1988...
