Those photos were taken, with, and with out a flash, that is why it does look gray. Those grills are black, but the screen use back ground grills were a gun metal gray. The HERO grills were black.

So.....I am guessing the consensus would vote for a black grill since a HERO helmet would have more close-up screen time. Would you agree Dale?

Yes I would, and side panels on the helmet are the gun metal gray

I have both grills, a HERO , and back ground grill. The colors are correct.
