Reminds me of when mine was delivered. That was nearly three years ago now. Time flies.

ALL THE CHROME! It's the best thing when you are wearing it - just DEMANDS attention.
Looking forward to seeing you suit up.

Still tied down by work but did manage to try out the VT-4. Sweet. Excuse the poor diction and dialogue

Managed to sneak in a costume try-out. Please forgive any missing or out of place bits and parts. Tried it on blind.
Here’s a very short vid of the costume in erm ‘action’

Sounding and looking great. You had everything on correct, left and right all done correct.
Well done, Centurion!!

Kropserkel told me the sliders of the VT-4 must have accidentally shifted causing the erm...voice to come out not so ‘manly’. Will look into that.
My only fear was that with the VT-4 and speaker velcroed to the backpack, the strain might cause the velcro to not hold the backpack and toilet neck together. Surprisingly it did not feel heavy and the velcro feels secure.
In a World full of Stormtroopers and Mandalorians.... it really feels good to be a Cylon Centurion.

Have a look on eBay. There is a ‘lid’ you can buy to protect the sliders off the VT4

Right. Thought i’d like to share pictures of what a fellow cylon here in SG (cylon Desmond) did with his Kropserkel backpack. He uses straps and chrome trim. The trim is for the edges of the backpack and collar in case the edges cut into the shoulders.

I was wondering how the weight of the equipment was going to hold up with out chocking you. A great idea.

Surprisingly first time trying it and walking about, you don’t feel (well at least i didn’t) that much of a weight even with the VT-4 & Amp attached to it. My only worry was that the backpack would dis-attach from the collar due to the ‘weight’ but the velcro used by Krop is pretty strong. Will probably have to try it for an hour or 2 or 3 and see if by that time i would feel the weight but i have a feeling i wouldn’t need to mod the backpack like my fellow SG cylon. I honestly didn’t feel the weight.

Decided to go the wireless route so transmitter is plugged into the VT-4 with the mic in the helmet.

Trying to do an alternative inner suit for when the days get really hot. The velcros are sewn onto the suit. Test run.
