I got my black paint and the stand has been painted!


Here we go - stand and my new paint.

Note the crazy new way they package Testors spray paint... had to all but tear the can in half to get it open.

And I have to give a shout out to "Tinman" - another Cylon fan who's going to join up BYC.net as soon as he can. He just got a Revell Raider today in the mail - I am looking forward his build. We can go shoot some Vipers when we're done

I know that GoldCylon has a programmer working on the site... maybe a setting was changed on the notices??? (A guess on my part).

Just keep checking in ... I plan to work on the Raider more this week/weekend. Have to get in in the air and zappin some Vipers ASAP ha ha

Hey guys all the email stopped a few weeks ago and I finally figured out why. The spammers filled up the email box. Over 3000 spam emails in 4 weeks. Updates should go out now...I hope.....Hey great stand so far. I think looking at the ripped up can was cool.

Well well well... RAIDERS!

Today, Cylon Puppy (such a good little Cylon Daggit) brought me the mail. And there was a box for Cylon-Knight!
It was from our own Tinman. A true-blue Cylon pal.

P.S. I Love the ship Tinman, it is soooooo cool. I even told Mrs. Cylon-Knight she could fly it around the living room if she wanted to.
She still hasn't, but I bet as soon as I walk out of the room she will... (hey, I can dream) LOL

Glad to see it made it to you in one piece. Tks. for the nice comments.

It turned out pretty nice but if I build another I think I will leave the weathering off. With all the Cylon Workforce aboard a Basestar you think they would have some kind of mechanism set up to keep their craft relatively clean. Got to keep the "Hooptie" looking sharp to bust the Humans with.
