How about letting him say things like "We believe we have located the Battlestar Galactica" or "Everything is possible, but the odds are astronomically against it"?
Oh, and don't let's forget his most popular line "By your command."

Eye update I did a test cast..
Color looks good, needs bright LEDs.
But it works. In the pics the triangle area that is black, sits behind, inside the head and provides mounting area.

Don't know if it's of any interest here, but while going through the episodes I've realized that they've used considerably more bulbs/LED's (in numbers: 10) for Lucifer's lower mouth light bar in "Lost Planet of the Gods":

would it be possible that there is early production heads and later production heads. the early using bulbs and later used LEDs????
And the early ones using 6-7 bulbs in the top lip, and later ones using more LEDs/bulbs??

Well anything could have happened, but I doubt they down graded to LED lights. Back then LED just wasn't bright enough to be seen on screen very well. If I recall it was around 1975 that LED even became with in a reasonable price range people could afford to buy them in small quantity. While light bulbs were dirt cheap.
