Was only the stock larger on the hero. The first pic is awesome. With the forced perspective the barrel feels huge!! ImageImage

I could provide larger scans for these images if you wish.

And yes, both the rifle and pistol are fan-made, like GC said.

Very Nice.
Are these from a book? Do they have many coffee table books for old style BSG? They sure have a ton for SW. It would be nice to get a close-up of the weapons too ;)

No, they are promotional photos.

Thanks for the link. I was looking at some of those images of the tip and some look like their made of plex and one out of aluminum. does it matter? Also the blade I always thought was made from clear plex as well, those pics appear to be brushed aluminum.
Is anyone making these rifles?

The metal piece you saw was used to make clear castings. I think C.O.R.A. still sells those, and the blade. I am not sure if anyone is selling replica rifles yet, but I know two or three are in the works, and will be offered up maybe in the next 6 months or so. I think C.O.R.A. also has the side panels.

Well if I can offer any help lemme know, rotocasting the main handle and mag would make for a lighter rifle.

The rifle is a vac styrene piece, and the barrels are both clear resin, are turned acrylic like what was used on screen or the Battle of Galactica Tram ride version was just pinstriped tape over a hollow tub.
