Good news!
Hopefully he'll take some photos of the rest of the classic stuff (Imperious Leader, Ovion, Cylon rifle...)

The Ovion is missing his left foot. Not in foot just what I remember.

He indeed misses his foot.
It's the costume which was sold by PiH in 2003:
Strangely, they never mentioned it in the item description...
@Cylon-Knight: Thanks for uploading more of your exhibition photos, by the way!
I didn't know that the greeblies (stickers and disk) on Vulpa's backpack are missing... interesting...

When listing in those big time auctions they generally don't point out what is missing because most of the time like with the Ovion it is clear the foot is missing, but when replica pieces are inserted that is usually noted.
Now take not on the Vulpa pics that Cylon-Knight posted. the trim on the gloves, and the sword are clearly bronze, and not gold.

I still haven't made it up to Seattle to see the exhibit. I don't think it's suppose to run much longer. Great photos guys. The photos of the 6' 1978 BSG replica look nice.I have alot of photos of the ship while it was being built, as i was one of the crew who built that replica in the exhibit.I had fun doing the mechanical pencil lines on the landing bay caps (like the original had)
Cheers!

Hey Demoriel was there supposed to be 3 ships originally? I recall a comment by one of the other builders that 3 were originally wanted for display. I never heard why the plug was pulled on the other 2.
Welcome on board also.

I didn't hear anything about 3 ships on display at the show, but then again, i wasn't part of any discussion. At our shop we built The Atlantia, The Galactica, and the client wanted The Pegasus (but didn't have the room or funds for a 3rd ship)
Since 1978 there is the Apogee original shooting miniature, then Jim Creveling built a version about 7 years ago. Then Sean Sides built his studio scale (very accurate as 90% of the kit parts were ID'd by Sean Sides, Jim Creveling, Sean Corsinni and many other people) We built the Atlantia, then the Galactica, and i know of 2 guys in Australia who are building ones, and Jim Creveling made his super accurate version last year. So all-in-all only about 7 replicas of a studio scale ship have ever been made in 30 years! Just shows you how time consuming and costly it is to make one.

Wow, Demoriel ... I can't imagine being near a full size SS Battlestar... much less TWO! OR

THREE *passes out*
Great work and info. A SS 1:1 Battlestar build IS a
MAJOR build, indeed. Thanks for sharing what you know about it with us all here, awesome stuff.
