Bridge is almost done. A new artist took over the job as the original just did not have time to finish it. The other good news is it will be loaded to Shapeways so anyone will be able to buy a copy of it! Here it is, as it was turned over to the new artist. Shouldn't take him to long to finish it up.
Also, got some new engine mesh printed. Much thinner and cleaner walls than the first black set I posted. As soon as the artist finishes a few projects he has in white, he will switch over to black and do my parts with even thinner walls!

Slowly, but surely. Real life get in the way a lot these days however.

Here is the completed 3D render for the Galactica's bridge. This was designed to fit the 3 foot Salzo kit. My artist will be re-scaling this to fit the Moebius kit as well.
And if anyone wants one, it us up on Shapeways.

robiwon, would it be possible to enlargeit to studio sscale?
If so... How much do you think it would cost to print?

Let me get a hold of my printer person. Do have basic measurements of what it should be? The Salzo kit is 37.5 inches long and this bridge is 47mm wide by 49mm deep.
Domes for the kit are now done as well.

Thanks for checking robiwon.
The studio Galactica is 76" long, 30 3/4" wide and 11 1/2" tall.
That's a bit more than double Salzo size... My brain is too frazzled to figure out "a bit more" right now

. And 4 out of 3 Cylons are not too good at math anyways.

lol

I got word back from my designer. A full size, studio scale bridge, would run about $100 or so to have printed. I think it would be a neat idea to have a SS bridge, mounted on a stand all lit up, to display next to my Salzo. Although, that's a bit too rich for my blood right now.

Wonderful work, robiwon!
You are big time. Your parts are going to grace a lot of battlestars, I think. We can rebuild the fleet!

Here is the actual 3D printed replacement bridge. This thing is a little jewel. Hard to see details because it's frosted clear, but trust me, it's all there. As soon as it warms up a bit I'll shoot it with primer so you can see all the detail. It even has .25mm holes pre-drilled for fiber optics!
