WOW!
I think the finish is great as is. Very Centurion looking.

Oh, hummm..... well, we don't want our new Centurion to rust! :frack: :brokenheart: ;)

What sort of finish is possible? Like a clear coat, or do you mean paint - like gold?
I'd vote for Chrome or Golden/Copper (the original colors). Others like black or red could be cool, but the original colors always express CYLON like no other color will. :)

:loveit: nice work there rustycylon, what about hitting it with a wire brush on a drill then a clear coat.

Won’t this weigh a ton and be difficult to wear and move about in?

This looks great, I think a rusted look would look cool, like some ancient cylon that has been dug up!

i have tried it all on and its heavy but wearable. its all done apart from the painting or clearcoating. unfortunately i have had to put the project on hold for the near future after going round to my dads and finding him dead on the patio.

Still got my metal cylon on hold until i make up my mind on how to finish it. So i thought i would do a bit of tarting up on old rusty cylon. I am going to make him more rusty
