What kind of fabric will you use for the making of your skirt?

It is looking great, but don't forget a hood to cover up your neck. The rest even rib free looks awesome. Good work.

Update
A little more work on my undersuit.
I started making the detail and patches on the legs. While these aren't exact there certainly passable. What do you guys think?
I must really say this undersuit is a nasty thing to make. And if your interested in buying a cylon replica costume really think hard about making on of these yourself. As a regular costume builder sewing isn't one of my strong points but this undersuit IS THE HARDEST THING I'VE EVER MADE...
Method.
Cut out some vinyl and stuck it to some buckram them stitched the patches to the undersuit.

It looks fantastic!
What kind of material did you use for the leg applications, vinyl or leather?

Hi Red
For the patch detail section of the suit I'm using a plastic vinyl material which in turn I stuck onto some buckram which I had cut out. I then stitched that patches onto the suit.

Is the vinyl totally smooth? Or does it have a slight texture on it? I found some yesterday at the fabric store - but no lycra that was the right color

. I didn't buy anything yet - till I can get it all.

Here is a picture of my undersuit in its current state. I have hard to rush over the last few weeks as I really wanted to wear it this weekend. Still working on the neck. But for collectormania and joe public it will do... things to do fit zip add leg detail ribbing on back...
