So all-in-all only about 7 replicas of a studio scale ship have ever been made in 30 years! Just shows you how time consuming and costly it is to make one.
But wait, there are more! Jason and Brad also in Oz, Mr. Wabac, Mel (Padawan Builder) and Ken (Dark Immitator) are other builder at various stages of construction. So, we'd better make that list to at least 12 Battlestars. One for each colony.....spooky.

Now wouldn't that be one hell of a fleet shot if we could get them all together! :salute:

Indeed!
Last Battlestar... do you think you could round up a pic/info on each known SS Battlestar out there?
It would be nice to have a sub forum to list/show them off. WOW that would be so neat.

Frack 12 battlestars and not any basestar's. Fello cylons our days are numbered. I guess I'll have to start a warstar to save our shinny butts.

There is a 1:1 Baseship under construction, but the builder got sick, and has put it on the back shelf of things to do. I haven't heard his status in a few months, but hope he is doing better regardless of the build.

It's a pity his health prevented him to continue working on this one-of-a-kind project! It was well advanced...

Here are a few in-progress-photos of the replica Basestar, if you don't mind (loaned from the Resin Illuminati Forums):

My friend and I made it up to the exhibit just in time a week before it closes.

There were only 3 things I REALLY wanted to see.

1. The Galactica studio model replica

2. Vulpa

3. Colonel Tigh's uniform from "take the celestra"

Thrilled to see the Galactica ship...WOW what a site!

Vulpa is not there.
Colonel Tigh's uniform also missing in action.

It was very disappointing that Vulpa was gone.
I really wanted to see that more than anything else.

I asked one of the staff if any items were missing from the exhibit.
He says "I think the old school Cylon is on tour or in storage"

major bummer!

The rest of the museum is being upgraded so Twiki and all the other sci-fi
stuff is tucked away at the moment.

I know Paul Allen owns Vulpa so I'm very much hoping he'll return soon when
the museum updates are finished and Twiki returns.

Anyone know where Vulpa went? Seems odd that he was taken out before
the exhibit closes down next week.

Other than that it was great to see the new BSG 1:1 scale vipers.

Brock Peck told me they rotate things around to keep the interest level up. They would move things in a inventory rotation every one or so.

The museum has countless props, and pieces, and mostly the RDM version, and it is most of what they own so that is why it leaned in showing these items more over the other.
