I tape the boots with my electrical tape.


mask the rest of the boots under the paper

and clean the parts i have to paint, with the same stuff that i have used for the gloves

spray them with chrome spray

removed the tape


and be happy with my new boots

The seamstress has massive problems with the big upper leg,
and the upper arm patches on the undersuit.
Is it sure that this parts were not vacuum formed or soemthing like this ?

The patches are backed with a stiffing material called buckrum. (correction) after years of calling it buckrum, my spell checker corrected me. So I Goggle searched it, and it is buckram. A material used to stiffen fabrics. The stiffing on the patches give the Cylon movement more of a mechanical look when walking. Yes the patches are very hard, and thick to sew on. Most people need a leather type of sewing machine to sew down the patches.

That undersuit is definately looking sweet. Wish every one of us could be so lucky.

Got my undersuit today, first test will be ok for me.
The Patches over the boots are to high and the upper legg patches are not long enough.
And like i say befor, the lyrca is very thin, you must be carefull.
In the moment it works, and of course much better like the KS suit ;-).
The pics are very bad, but better than nothing in the moment.
Higher quality pics will follow next month i hope.
