@Hammer3246 Everytime I look at the collar the different planes are throwing off my eye sight.

I'm assuming your cut was similar to that of the
red angle correct? Starts at the peak and ends where the plastic lining is.

Where your red line starts at the top is where I cut mine, the end of it was more about where the blue line ends. It's personal preference with the angle since body types are different. Put something in between the back of the neck and the backpack and use masking tape to hold the angle and object (I think I used a disposable peppermill from Costco) try it on and see what you think.
If the angle is to much or to little use something bigger or smaller. DO NOT cut anything until you are sure of the fit, tape is a lot cheaper

I found the Velcro was getting in my way because it always wanted to grab the Velcro on the backpack so I removed it from the neck part while I tried different adjustments. (You could also just put some masking tape over it in case you decide not to follow through.)
Also source out some proper chrome mylar tape before doing anything, you really need this to cover the seams, and if it's not the right luster or shine it won't look proper

My mod on my Kropserkel backpack is complete and I am so much more happier with it! This should be more the shape Scott should be aiming for with his model!
Tell me what you guys all think. It's only a temp mesure I'm sure ill eventually replace it. You know our need for perfection

Nice RedaV! It looks seemless! Can you post how you did it so well and what you used?

Some close up photos of the back pack and where you connected them would be cool! If possible.

I know these cloves are not screen accurate but I actually like my cloves! If you have any suggestion the best place I can get a set of my screen accurate would be a big help! Very hard to find here in Australia!

My only advice I can offer is to take your time and use a sanding block to get nice straight lines. I used a very fast drying glue but be careful not to get it on the chrome. Then I lightly with a very fine auto sand paper took the edge off the two glued sections before applying chrome tape to conceal the joins. Looks ok but will eventually replace with more screen accurate backpack!

Really wanting to make this mod to my own KS backpack but really worried about cutting into a brand new piece of kit!
Maybe one day soon!

What's the worst thing that could happen! My logic was that I wasn't happy with it anyway so if I stuffed it up I'd just source a screen accurate one anyway! Now I just have some time to save up and look around.

Boots done. Did a little work to the cuffs as well.
