So can any of the owners of a KS Cylon advise what the source of their skirt is? Please forgive my curiousity

Cylon Bob knows it name, I do not.... its a kind of ladies scarf material very light but double layered. Its black and has flecks of silver foil in it.
I would take some pictures but I binned mine immediately as it was to short and not wide enough. I have since purchased some more material from John Lewis a store in the UK. Once the new skirt is made I shall take a few pictures of the material for you.

Thanks Nashlash - I'll look forward to seeing your new acquisition.
The skirt that William sells is actually quite heavy, but of a wonderful construction.
I hope that Cylon Bob can pipe in with the other information on your old skirt.

The material for the KS skirt looks like it is Lurex, a spangly lycra material.

The skirt William is selling is the 2nd best correct version that has been available for sale. I sold the 10 of the exact 1:1 color matched version, some reason the original color wasn't made available to William, plus he had to buy twice as many I ordered. The color they used is very close, but off only when you place them side by side. Still the best thing out there.

Thanks Cylon Bob.
It is unfortunate that you did not get more for your money.

Could anybody (perhaps Dale or Chrisd) kindly provide some advice as to how the skirt is secured to the belt?
I don't think it would be to difficult to jury rig up something, but may as well replicate the original construction.
Thanks!

If your using any kind of material then Velcro is fine but here is the original fixing of the chainmail.
Note. Its secured to the undersuit not the belt...

Thanks for that Nashlash.
I will have to see if I can find those sort of 'eyes' with some corresponding 'hooks'.
I will also consider securing them in such a way that they do not pull out the fabric.
Thanks again!!

GoldCylon wrote:Hey William I have an other under suit, it just needs to be picked up. $875 because it is just a bit darker than the original color suit, but by the closet in 1:1 from the original you can get. That is lower than the original price of $1025
Email me PICS of the undersuit at H1wsc8 @ comcast . net
Maybe a part trade for the BSG pics of something. LMK and open. Our 3 year old is a hellion hence the lack of time to the forums.
