The host got 8,953 images restored (albeit to an incorrect sub directory of the directory itself , but I'm being picky).
I am downloading them now on my prehistoric DSL.

Dale will have to contact them about the other 13,082-ish files that are still missing after I safely offload these near 9,000 files. Hopefully we can still recover all the data.

So, Progress...

P.S. Have you visited the gallery lately?! I made a new banner to go along with all this drama. lol

The tech support said the gallery needs a single directory for every 20 photos to have a quick non problem gallery. I think that is a bit small myself, but it is their call. Not sure how much of a headache it will be the the admin (CylonKnight). Time to go look at the banner.

20 images per folder ?! If that was necessary the Internet would have died off in 1 month.
That's I.T. for ya... no files, no users, no processes... SURE the server will run GREAT!

GoldCylon is working on with the host on finding all the files
and I safely have 8,953 images locally now. Cylon victory - part of the Gallery is ensured to return.

@Red Eye I've gone deep into the gallery database itself and found a quicker way to update the images.
I've updated the G 1980 AB Raider Screen Caps with what I have:

@GoldCylon the above link is a good item to show the host... only 5 of the 13 AB Raider files were in the 8,953 files. The missing files just skip around all over it seems? Fingers crossed they can still do a full restore.

22,526 files, 20+ GB - DOWNLOAD COMPLETE!

Fry my circuits?! heehee... it did my computer - well, filled up my hard drive. My computer is almost 7 and 1/2 years old... never full till I brought in the Gallery. LOL It got down to 194 MB of open space - YIKES! I dumped the first incomplete gallery download and that got me 7 GB back.

What the Happened ???? My program has NEVER trusted humans ... Send me to do your bidding my master... Wrong Franchise !!!

Thank you out to redeye and silent night for the previous work in the hard work that they have ahead of them. I'm glad that we were able to recover all these photos but it sure has made things uncomfortable to re-upload all the stuff. Also with the application that I'm using Tappa talk they had a little revolution from their customers and they are having their own issues with the forums like I can't see any images at all.
