It looks beautiful to me

My skirt material is supposed to arrive tomorrow so I will have some more stuff to do next week. Will post a picture of what I’m going to be using when I can.

Thanks Jim
CORA's pommels hit a little speed bump with usps. But should see them today. Will try my best to have everything wrapped up by next week

is this the proper size?

It’s 20 inches wide and almost 5 feet long so I have to figure out how to sew on the extra 4inches so I have it at 24x24

Any ideas how to sew it

Small tweezers and lots of work but it will look better than sewing with thread

With all the time I have waiting for my armor and other stuff I figure I’d take the time and “repair “ the skirt

It’s like zipping a zipper without the pull

Wow! Great idea on the skirt and splicing it all together. I thought about it, but it seems it's the only way to do it.

Great job man! You done an awesome job. I sewed mine with a thicker black thread down the middle. I used key rings to attach to the belt. Ill attempt to get a pic or two.

I used some black felt to sew on the material first, then sew the ring. The material can pull apart with enough force, so I sewed the black felt to give the ring something more to hang on to. I do notice when wearing the skirt the material wants to snag at the pants, but luckily has not caught yet.

I attached 3 clips like the pink/purple clip in the picture to my belt. I made my own belt and used zip ties to hold the
3 clips to my belt. I attach the skirt in 3 places. Im not sure if I have a pic but will look.

Looks great!
On a side note I was watching the 1966 Batman this morning, season 2- episode 2 - Walk the straight and narrow

and saw Batman swashbuckling with a familiar sword in hand.

Holy genocidal Robots from space, Batman!
Who knew that our sword has super hero roots?! So far that's the earliest appearance of the prop... a few tweaks through the years to 1978 but certainly share the same bones.

Great find!
