Sean C had his hand in this ship? I had no idea, he has been showing his builds off a while, but I thought he was just a builder, not scratch builder (if that is what it is called) Those are great. Sorry about the 5 photo limit, not everyone is on high speed internet, and it really causes problem when they try uploading a lot of photos at once.

WOW - the Shuttle is soooooo cool! Did you design the light system yourself? Or is that part of the kit?
SO NICE - can't wait to see more of the build.
(The only FLAW I can spot is there is no BY YOUR COMMAND.NET bumper sticker on the back of the Shuttle!

lol)

Ok Ive got the engine lights hooked up for a test run with the power adaptor I'll be using. Alls good except for the heat the bulbs give off. I only left them on for a minute or so & the heat was quite hot. Resin just won't stand up to that. This is a problem as I want to be able to sit & admire these models with the lights on for more than just a few minutes

I might have to change to an LED light source for that. This will take some thought.

LEDs would be MUCH cooler yes. What about maby using a little "Christmas light" bulb? Maybe they would run a bit cooler than what you have, yet, give that nice bulb glow that LEDs can't really copy.

Have been working on the bottom, sides, top & head this afternoon. Starting to come to life. Hope to have her built up in the next couple of weeks so I can start on the paint. Thanks for looking.

Looking good, wondering if I need to take a drive to the bay area real soon to check these guys out, unless your heading to visit a relative near by, and you bring these guys with you.
