Check out the SyFy channel on Oct. 27 - they are putting on a new show called "Hollywood Treasures" - SyFy.com has some info on it now.

They are going to show the stuff from the movies that goes to auctions, etc.

Has anyone actually signed up to buy anything from a Profiles In History auction before? What's the process? Any hidden fees? How do they bid for you? Thanks.

I have signed up before, and bid, but never won, but the shipping rates are a bit steep, and you also have a 30% buyer premium. If not 30% some what close to that amount, and the seller pays the same premium so Profiles makes a pretty penny at 60% of price sold.
