It's an excellent model! The only thing that I dislike about it is (can you guess what it is,lol) the inner bars on the cockpit louvers...
The bars are perfectly strait in this model. The screen used models had a definite slant to them, some more than others.
The following pics are all sceen caps that I captured directly from my 65" Mitsubishi and my modest Fujifilm Z33-WP... All these screencaps are from 'Saga Of A Star World'.
Notice the 'Slant' of the inner bars...
This one slants as well, and doesn't have its 'headlights' on.
This final one is much straiter than the other two, but is STILL slanted...
this is one of the Raiders attacking Caprica.
Another pic of the same Raider along with others in it's group.
Notice that the background Raider on it's right has a much more prominant slant to the louver bars, than it does.
Finally here is an in cockpit view of a Cylon Raider, clearly showing the bars in point and that they are slanted.
I've spent quite a bit of my personal time, to prove a point. Not knocking the model, just hope that other model builders will bear this in mind when building a screen accurate Cylon Raider. I love the look of the Cylon Raider, and one of my favorite parts is the louvered cockpit, it gives it a very "mean" face. It's also interesting to me that some screenshot raiders have their "headlights" on and some do not... I wonder what these "headlights" are supposed to be? Some form of marker lights, or possibly part of their sensors, or maybe.... Just "headlights"/landing lights?
Perhaps I am in error..If anyone has a screencap of a Raider with strait bars, I'd like too see it.
