PropWorx auction Aug 27th

Well like the subject title says PropWorx is having a all BSG auction on Saturday the 27th. It is a mix of the original, and the 2003 SciFi channel version. It will mostly be items from the SciFi Channel items, but the featured items are two things I had a lot to do with. Muffy the Daggit is listed, and I was given credit in the description of the repair work. I didn't know they were going to do that. They asked if they could use my name, but I thought when asked who did the repairs. No harm, just cool to see my name in print like that. Then the Gold Cylon. My name sake that has been lurking in my house over 2 years is finally going to a new home. Not by choice, but it never was mine. I set of the deal between the buyer, and seller, and was going to restore it, but two weeks after the new owner paid for it he said sale it. So I mentioned PropWorx to him, and now it is to be sold with a starting bid of $12,500. So check the link or and bid high, and bid often.

I bet it's not easy to let him go, yours or not.
Good luck with the sale anyway!

Here are some additional photos of the costume from Propwork's Facebook page:

Again, they've made the usual errors while suiting him up: The wrist armor is interchanged and the boot gauntlets aren't looking so well how they've added them... *sigh*... they'll never learn...
Sorry for being so pedantic...

I have two other suits. This suit never was mine, but I wish it was. If I knew it was going to be here as long as it was I would have bought it on time. It would have been paid off by the end of the 2 years it was here. My other two suits are one screen used 100% in perfect condition, and then the suit I can troop around in. I used the Gold guy a few times to troop in.

I am right there with you RedEye... *HEAVY SIGH* If you have the time and money and interest for such a prop at least learn some about it. Grrrrrr Rant over.
Dale - great work! The new owner will be lucky to have a suit you've restored to perfection.

Well Cylon-Knight you nailed it. If you own it. Remember this is just an auction house, not the owners. They don't know nor do they care to have it 100% perfect, but I did post on the photo a comment about the misplacement of the ankle pieces.

I'd like to have a higher-resoluted version of this photo here:

Perhaps you could help me with that, Dale?

I think I need to wait till the auction is over, but yeah I sure will. I asked for a video of the Cylon, and Daggit together also.

So the Propworx BSG auction is over now.
Does anyone know for how much the Daggit, Command Centurion and Battle Jacket were sold?
And have you got some more photos, Dale?
