Ok so I bought a new IBM Lenovo last night. Nice large tower with a decent processor but the Internet access is very limited. Only with Internet Explorer. Programs I download with IE that need access to the net won't install either. I talked with the store I bought because my thoughts it might be a DNS server issue that might help with. They never heard of such a thing and gave three suggestions. Call the manufacture, format it or return it. This sucks man. Getting all that set up with the new pc and now to return. Now with a 2nd chance at a new pc again I might upgrade just a bit more even.

Ok so I returned the PC and they wanted check it out and the guy was amazed of my story and verified it. So was the supervisor that had to ok waving the 15% restock fee. Yeah a fee to take back a return. Anyway I went to look for a other PC and nothing but a demo unit. So ok let's see the Apples. After asking a few questions they were able to get more money out of me to upgrade to a Mac Mini. Besides my iPhone this is my 1st Apple product. Let's see how this unit goes. Still setting it up before I had to bug out to work but so far so good. I finally fall into the Jobs line after he dies. Go figure.

I had a NASTY drag-down with a place on a restocking fee... for the "return" of an item. The item was a custom order deal... BUT... it was NEVER MADE!!! Why should I pay a restocking fee for literally NOTHING to be put back?!!?!???

I had the BBB involved... and if the manufacturer of the item (not the dealer) didn't step in and fix it my next step was start to call all the News stations around town. I was NOT going to pay a several hundred dollar fee for nothing without dragging them through the mud and costing them new business along the way.

Thanks guy but I'll be the side by side guy for many reasons. First I have had my hands on computers since 1978. Just as the Galactica launched across our TV screens so did my fingers on a keyboard.
