I must publicly thank Dale Long for this wonderful website. Referred to this place by Chris Dexter whom customized those Cylon vocoder MP3s for our website and etc. Jim of WeGottaFindEarth.com Lastly Scott of Kropserkel.com for pretty much starting the CYLON journey.

Our budget is from $3,000 to $5,000 tops we hope. This is to the best of our knowledge from the research done on and offline. Feel free to chime in on the matter. We want 1 helmet we can wear with a full time CYLON vocoder and 1 full compelete outfit with a motion sensor red eye maybe configured with a CF card so when people enter our Home Theater the motion sensor will go on and speak various phrases e.g. Welcome to our Sanctuary, By you command, No smoking etc........

WANTED: 2 Cylon Helmet and related Armor pieces preferable not in styrene but in a more rigid durable ABS?, Fiberglass or whatever material if possible.

This will probably need triple chroming of some sort for long lasting durability.

-2 Cylon heads with 1 set of Armor pieces
-undersuit and skirt from Dale looks perfect
-Georgia Linesmen boots on order
-Cooper Armadillo Thumbs blacked out gloves on order
-G & M 7 section camera battery belt, don't need the batteries, hopefully today
-electronics for the CYLON Head, stated above
-rifle, sword and gun holster

Thanks WIlliam, welcome to the board. Good luck with the Cylon build, can't wait to hear about the updates on the board, and see some photo's when the work is all done.

Thanks Dale,
You gotta sell us that skirt from eBay :-) Let's work out something for the undersuit. Will be back home in a few hours.

A current listing on eBay has a set of armor for sale. It has a few original pieces made for the show, but never saw screen used time. The chrome plating is dull as best, and shows signs of chips here and there. I have personally bought a few items from this guy in the past, but he has a horrible feed back record. It isn't a bad price, if you get the the set with out any problems.

I wonder who's the lucky winner to the CYLON costume from the Profiles in History auction back in Dec 16, 2005. Price was not too bad at around $25,000. Past eBay Live Auctions URL still works.

I have emails out to those people that asked me about the Cylon, and so far just one reply back, and he was 2nd highest bidder.

Also we will be putting in a big qty order with Whiting and Davis tomorrow for the metal mesh skirt. #70 Straight cut, custom gun metal color, SIZE 24" x 24". We will be eBaying off the remainder as we only need to keep 1 for our own collection. Our hunt continues for the armor. We are in talks for a fiberglass armor set from the UK. When more info becomes avail we shall post the info here. We don't want any styrene or SOLO cup like cheapie plastic armor for long term.

It took about 3 weeks to get my order from Whitting and Davis, so you will have a wait.
Also do you have anymore of the links from the Profiles Dec 16th listing of BSG items. I am doing the screen cap of original items in the photo gallery as referance of value.

Hey Dale,
Yep it's gonna be a bloody waiting game for everything. Patience is definitely NOT one of my virtues. Sorry no other BSG past eBay URLs as that was the only auction we phished out via the google search engines with multiple keywords. We have been saving some of the auctions the old fashion way: printing up the auctions vertically on paper.

Hey Dale,
Great screen captures of the auction. This will give newbies and advance collectors a general idea of how much it will take to buy an authentic screen used CYLON. PLUS the auction buyers fee!! And tax?!

I started doing the screen caps on original BSG items a few months ago. It was a way to track the selling price, and in some cases the location of the item. I have a folder that has one of a kind items, rare, and screen used items.

Yep been to that link. Glad someone is being proactive and archiving this BSG prop and wardrobe sales history. Also a good way to keep track of one own's spending too.

Careful about saying that spent amount to loud, I think the g/f can hear that from the next room over.
