I was wondering, are these cast off the studio or are they made up of the kit parts? I'm working on I'ding them all, but was curious as a reference in hand is 1000 times better than the pics available.

Either way, color me interested, just curious of the history.

I made the mold I am using to make these off my screen used Cylon rifle. The ID on it is still unknown, but some type of ship deck.
The copys are made of a clear plastic resin, and I added some black to match the rifle.

I got mine the other day and they are WELL worth the $. A very good casting job, I talked to Dale in depth about these and everything that looked like "flaws" to me and my experienced casting eye were in fact PRESENT on the originals in the exact same form. Grab these while you can, and as I ID kit parts I'll let everyone know here in case they want to do a "clean" flawless set for themselves.

AND, you did great for your first pour! Re reading my post, I guess I should have added that ALL the "flaws" (for lack of a better term) are present on the original master, which was a screen used piece. Hence, this is about 99.99% accurate to a screen used piece, and thus FAR better than anything most of us could ever hope to have on their rifle as far as screen used pieces go!
