Last Christmas Hallmark released a ornament of the classic Cylon. Well now they are releasing at ComicCon the gold version of the Cylon.

I hope they'll change the sound chip for the gold version.

It honestly makes sense that they would do this. Toy companies did that for the centurions, vipers and raiders with different paint combinations to stretch the line out and maximize the income margin with minimal cost. And like Red Eye said, I do hope they take the time to change the voice to the lower pitch. They did such a good job on the first one (how DID they separate the voices from the background music that should have been playing during those lines of dialog?), it would be a shame if they skimped on the audio.

Looking forward to this release, I just saw this link after paying for a second silver ornament to paint up gold....

I believe so it appears to be just a nice repaint. I am away from home and cant remember the phases the silver centurion say. Can somebody tell me the phrases so I can verify on this gold version. GC1

No however as stated they come up on Ebay after the Con fairly often
