Hello!

Does anyone have an idea how to make the sheath for the Cylon sword?

I haven't heard of any one trying to make one yet. That would be a great project if you did. I have heard a few people buying off the shelf one in the past. Maybe check out eBay, and look at someone that sells swords and ask them if they could help out.
Good luck, and lets hear what you find out.

The seller of my armor offered me a sheath for the sword as well.

I'll post pics of it as soon as it arrives.

The seller of my Cylon armor also asked me if I want a sheath for my sword.

I naturally accepted this offer and so he'll make it for me.

I can't wait to see my armor parts finally!!!

Lets see what it looks like, once you get it, or if the builder supplied you some photo's.

Yes, of course!

He also sent me pics of the helmet and the backpack.

It's assembled and looks really great!

He also wants to ship it this weeks! Then I'll make a few photos and you can post them on your site.

Hi guys,

Any photos of those swords or scabbards? What do you think of the finished product?

I seem to remember that someone was making a metal one on the RPF site a while back - it was beautiful.

Cheers,

Patrick

I saw a posting a while back about the sword also that someone made out of metal. It was very cool, and I did point out a few minor problems, so the guy was aware of any problems, if he made any more. Being that it was made out of metal I doubt many people would want one, to heavy, and dangerous to lug around.
I had a guy that works at the Burbank Studio's prop department make a cast of the sword end cap. I have six end caps left.

If I remember right, he was missing some grooves in the end cap on the end.

You are right about the weight being an issue - I am not sure I even want a full blade, last thing I need is the police hassling me about an oversized knife - especially if my laser rifle is not working!

What is the price for your end caps Dale?

The sword in caps are $15 to ship to US, out of the country I'll have to get a price quote for shipping.

Where did you pick it up at, and what was the cost.
