and it looks like its here for the long haul....
well guys my father has suffered a bad stroke sometime between Monday afternoon and Tuesday morning when I found him passed out on the floor....he has been there for many hours before I found him... he had a cancer apt that I was going to attend with him on Tue and I got there late and he hasn't shown up yet.....that was bad and I know something was wrong so I rushed to his house (Home) to find him covered in dried blood from hitting his head on a table and concrete floor....well the mri showed cancer in his brain and we believe one caused the stroke but at this time we are not sure do to the amount of blood in the brain... so now I got to sacrifice a lot now so I wont be able to come here everyday and certainly wont be able to post or reply....sorry RED-eye and everyone that I hadn't gotten ahold of bill for the black hole pics but I am sure you all understand....also I would like to thank all here that post well wishes and prayers in advance....please don't think I am not grateful its just I will be spending ALOT of time in the hospital...if I can I will try to pop in every now and again and give updates, and if thing go in a positive way ill still see if I can get ahold of bill and get some pics

So good that you were able to find and help him get to the care he needs. I know the hospital is rough, but with you at his side your dad will get that extra care that no med can match. My own father had two strokes, and just sitting by his bed holding his hand seems to small and ordinary... but it really does mean the world!

When you have time, reply and keep us posted on how your dad and yourself are doing. We totally understand you will have few chances to log in - no worries.

We'll be here waiting and wishing for the best.

thanks everyone....its been a rollercoaster ride all week, yesterday was a good day but today not so much...also today we found out the life expectancy is anywhere between 2 weeks and 4 months....she did say she could be wrong but....sister and I is having a meeting with her tomorrow, and my father may have had his last rights done today...I wish I had better news but....

I apologize for not popping in sooner but I hope you'll accept my belated well wishes for you and your family. I've lost family and friends to cancer as well as seen those close to me survive it. A loss isn't easy to take and I admit can feel like a shock (even if expected).

I want to wish you much comfort and healing for you and your family and much strength so that you all can get through this difficult time together.

thanks for all your support, prayers and well wishes, it means a lot....well looks like hell will change to purgatory next Wednesday....if everything goes good he can go home with visiting nurses...he still has brain cancer but at least he can go home for however long he has left
