This was done about 6 years ago. It was released publicly yesterday to drive more interest to complete the project.

Very cool, I'm impressed!
Even better than the version David Kerin gave us, if I dare to say so.
Hope to see a remastered version of the entire series like this one day... *Dream*

After this was completed I was asked to be a member of the team. I had, nor still have any CGI skills but was asked to critique it, and offer another speciality. I'll remain quiet on that part for now since this project isn't dead, but just sitting on the shelf. With the newly expanded attention given with the passing of Glen the team or a single individual thought it would be a good time now to see how this flies.

Here's the same clip as it was edited by David Kerin to have a direct comparison of both versions:
Hmm, for some reason I can't read that file and it keeps freezing up my browser.

Looks pretty good, but frankly it's a waste of money and time. An old show like BG has limited appeal these days; especially in the wake of the 2003-2009, so even if they spend millions on creating ew SPFX if won't alter the fact that the show is dated and the narrow-minded new viewers will ignore it. Conversely, the fans will want the original versions.
It might be good if they had all of the various components so they could rebuild the shots precisely so they could remove flaws like garbage mattes, fringing etc.
