On actress Michele Specht's Facebook page today, it was suggested that the web series Star Trek Continues try to get Richard Hatch to make a guest appearance. She replied:

We know Richard very well! He's a downright lovely human being. But DON'T challenge him to a thumb war - I mean it, he takes it VERY seriously!!! And Vic [Mignogna] is apparently the only person who has beaten him repeatedly at it!
