Glen A Larson would have been 78 last week, and Classic NBC thought of our admin Cylon-Knight, and Glen A Larson.

Cool video. When I saw it I immediately thought of Cylon Knight. I wonder why. How much does a 1983 Pontiac Trans am cost to buy in the US?

There was a local to me Knight car about 90% complete accurate that he was asking 20K. The car was clean, but most people said over priced. I thought it was a good deal myself. As for just the car I am not sure.

Seems a really sharp 82 Trans Am (K.I.T.T. correct) costs around $8,000-ish.
...now that is based on my 23 second Google search research so don't quote me ;)

I know I paid $5,000 for mine in 1997 and it was in so-so shape, no car show champ. Pretty sure it was 97, I'd have to check, it was somewhere in the mid/late 90s I got it... it was before 98 as Mrs. Cylon-Knight and I drove off from our wedding in a K.I.T.T. replica (exterior only).
:sunglasses: :sunglasses: oh yeah, TRUE.

You guys ever see my car? http://m1knight.prekfun.com/m1KnightRider/v2/mykitt.htm bottom right photo is still how it sits today  but the tires are flat and the battery dead... and junk PILED ontop of it. OOPS! (My Knight Rider site is as neglected as my car... *cries*)
Note: At the bottom of that page, the link "Sunshine" ... a.k.a. Cylon Kitty ... she is still waiting for another chance at my car - ohhh those evil kitty cats!

Dale, I think you are right on the money. 20K for a turn key K.I.T.T. replica all pimped out is a common price (so I've seen).
A lot of that is labor. The new bumper, dash and electronics are around 5-6K (last time I priced them), car 8ish... slick paint job and labor ~ 20K I'd be cool with (and I'm cheap  ) lol

I had no idea you had a K.I.T.T. that is very cool, and even cat is wanted over destruction of the interior type. :censored:

:) Glad you two like it.
I guess I need to get K.I.T.T. rolling one of these days... then I can real life Cylon-Knight ;)
Oh what a photo shoot that'd be. :sunglasses:
