New chroming vendor in New Orleans

Hey all!

Had no idea but another member in my local 501st has a chroming outfit.

I have seen some of his work and is really impressive. Any color, outstanding mirror finishes. Going to go commander for me but have several projects in the fire at present. He mainly does contracts for local movie houses here in Louisiana as they are many as the state gives huge concessions and tax breaks for filming.

Can't remember how much I paid for mine to be chromed but thought it was greater than $1,000? I am unsure what to tell him to charge so thought I might put it up here for input and an interest thread.

Evidently he is ready to roll.

Good to know, but Hand-Schaub's guy in Sacramento I think was doing armor sets for like $500-$600? I've been planning to use him once I'm ready. I missed my mark for January of this year, but I am fairly sure it will be sometime this year. :cylongold:

All parts are chromed in silver, then the clear coat is color tinted. You tell them the color they mix that into the clear coat. Bammm... you have gold, black, blue or whatever color you like.

I have never chromed any pieces here myself locally.
