Hi all I'm from Perth Western Australia and looking at an original Cylon build, my 2nd most loved costume from the 80's, first was a Stormtrooper which I've been wearing with the 501st since 2012 (as well as few other Star Wars "Bad Guy's" costumes)

Looking at a lot of threads here and appears there is a lot of info lost which is going to make things interesting, happens with a lot of forums.

I've found the Cylon Empire - The Classic Cylon Authority on Facebook (I only use FB for costume research) any links to other information would be a great help.

Hope to finally bring this dream to fruition

Thank you, I did find the gallery and have been deep diving through the references and videos over the last few days, now deciding how accurate I want this build to be, what I thought at first was going to be a quick all in one order now looks like I may be doing a lot of searching. I'm use to accuracy building through the 501st so thats nothing new, shame there are so few suppliers for some items, that will be the hardest.

Waiting to see if I get an undersuit, the maker has been ill and needs more time for convelencing, hoping she improves.

Already found some gloves with no finger joints, that was a fluke of luck.

Will be on the look out for any sales, now that I know what I'm looking for

Grunt silver will match my grunt Stormtrooper I'm yet to see a Cylon Centurion at any of our conventions, we have 2 per year and I've been attending for the last 12 years. While I was doing some research I did see another local 501st member asking questions in the FB group, so maybe there will end up being two here. Hopefully we can spark some interest in the costume by others and we get a few more, will need a gold Centurion then.
