Original Concept Cylon
This was one of the very first of several concept Cylons made. This was never used, but at least a drawing, and a model was made. Wonder what ever happened to it? In the trash can?

I think so.
But the basic idea of those pre-Cylons (the different mouth piece and the blue scanner eye) influenced the design of the Command Centurion Vulpa Six in the Realm Press-comics.
Here's a picture of him:

Hmmm, I believe McQuarrie also did some concept Stormtrooper drawings (I have not researched that though, so am no expert).
But with the inverted V and the two 'horns' coming out of the jaw I can already see an unfortunate similarity.
Anyway whilst I still prefer the final classic image, it is interesting to see what else BSG could have been.

I agree I have a orignal art piece that Chris Scalf actully three pieces. One was made into a rittenhouse card #S5 In the Colonia Warriors Series. But before you ask. Here is a link to a new topic!Red Eye wrote:No problem!
I think the artwork on the Realm Press-comics were by far the best of all BSG-related comic stuff.
