I have emailed Eric Melson on a few occasions, and he is an extremely nice guy and loves to talk about his Cylon including how it was made... I like many, was disappointed when they revamped the cylons using CGI for the new series. While Eric's cylon looks totally awesome. And well in keeping with the originals in my thinking. Job well done Eric that's for sure....

Eric's suit is very very nice. A lot of time and talent went into it!
I really like the idea of the motor sounds, it gives it a much more "realistic" effect. Reminds me of RoboCop or C-3PO - it would be hard to see either of them without servo sounds as they move. Adding them to a Cylon gives a great "robotic" flare.

The weapon was way cool, I bet that was one of the hardest pieces to make, even thou it was a modified water gun (aka Super Soaker)

I agree totally... a very good interpretation of an advanced Cylon Centurion.
It's nice to know how he made his costume, too. Thanks for posting it here!

The trailer now has been removed from You Tube.
Did anyone snag it before it was taken down?

I tried a few time to grab it, but I think YouTube has now figured out how to block the downloads, or my ripper was blocked. If anyone got a pull of it, let me know I'll post it here.

Luckily, I was able to save it on my PC before it disappeared.
I'll upload it on Rapidshare and post the link tomorrow...
It's still a great opportunity that the trailer finally made his way to the public...
