Hyperdyne Labs has finally come out with a Cylon voice changing module. It isn't the best, but for on the fly it works good enough. Here is a sample file. http://www.hyperdynelabs.com/wavs/exterm2.wav
Here is the link to the page giving the details on the piece.

Neat, but not for that price.

I would think a single voice changer and lower price would be better - not make an "all in one" unit. The Cylon sound is okay, but not "perfect" ... I don't think I'll pay that much for okay.

Cylon-Knight is gonna pass.

I agree, but if you caught up in a time issue problem that might be the route you need to go, but I think a cheapo over the counter Halloween toy would also work in the same range of sound quality

Interesting, yes...but for $400 dollars it should sound better. I'll pass until they can get the voice closer to the originals. Also, that suggested speaker isn't loud enough to be heard.

Oh I have heard better, and I even own better. A simple Halloween voice changing toy that runs about $10-$15 that has a selection of at least 5 sound effect has a Cylon like robot voice.

Just my 2 cents though..

I haven't paid attention to brand names for Halloween items before since most seem to be a one time deal. Most Halloween stores have samples out to use, maybe I'll go lok this weekend.
