Hello everyone. My name is Ian and this is just a hello/first post.

I was a kid when Galactica showed in '78 and loved it very much (in Sensurround at the Forum cinema in Sydney). I still enjoy the original films and TV series on DVD. I also loved the original Lost in Space. Hey does anyone know what the two shows had in common? I searched these forums and "guess" that nobody knows, but to old guys like me its a very obvious link.

I love the original Lost In Space.... what is the connection? I know the Cylon's sword was in LIS, but what else is there?

Not the original, but the new BSG used the John Woo's Unair WB Lost in Space pilot music, and also the Pegasus was the Jupiter II set with some high mods done to it. What else did I miss? Beside a real close looking sword
