While looking around eBay, I stumbled upon this battery belt, which looks almost like the original made by G&M Power:

I know, it only has 6 battery boxes instead of 7, but for that price you can't go wrong I think.

Very cool find! I asked the seller if they had any with 7 power cells.

Those belts are a bit smaller than the standard G&M belt. You will find out the belt box pieces can pop off real easy, and get damaged if the is not kept in a rounded shape.

The seller replied, no. They don't have any that are 7 cells.

Over all if your not going to be a purest about your suit that is a good choice to have as a battery belt. If you make the choice to buy the belt and something to think about in cutting down the shipping cost is to have the seller remove the battery cells. Cut them out because they are worthless unless you plan on having them rebuilt, and using them as your power source. It saved me about $15 in shipping cost when I had those worthless batteries discarded at the source.

I'm just going to try and craft my own look-a-like belt I have blocks from nashslash and will wrap them up in some sort of black. In the end it'll be an okay stand in.
