Man that looks like it is going to be a awesome Christmas gift to your self. Great work, and looks like the posted images helped out in the pattern. Great job with the side plate also.

you guys and this site are a great help.this is just a blank.i will change everything,even the plate.in the end it will look and feel like a hard plastic.and i will get the plate as close as possible.and it will be a Christmas gift for a friend.not really my weapon style.but i will probably make another for the weapons wall i hope to have in the future.all weapons of sci fi

Maybe a little MP3 player? Or there are some sound card electronics out there for Halo gun builders and stuff too. I've got some bookmarked I'll dig those up in a bit and see if they would help. Have to find a nice sound clip of the Cylon gun. I could make one from my DVDs if anyone knows of a spot in an episode where there is a good clear sound of it (no music or explosions overlapping it, etc.)

I was thinking.I wonder if i could get one of those greeting cards with sound and reprogram the sound board.wounder if it uses wav form?.i don't think a mp3 player would work well with just one trigger button.
